It was an historic night for The Children’s Inn at NIH.  For the first time in the history of the event, the Evening for Hope Gala raised over one million dollars in donations in support of the Inn.

The Children’s Inn at NIH is a residential “place like home” for families with children participating in leading-edge research studies.  An annual event, the Evening for Hope Gala is regularly sponsored and attended by various large and small business contractors around the beltway, all with ties to Health IT and The Inn.  Not only did the 2018 event set a new record for donations, it was a sold-out event with over 800 attendees.

2018 was the first year Excentium participated in the event as a company, contributing as a “Rising Star” sponsor.  President and CEO, Colin Corlett: “I am truly humbled by this experience, and moved by the strength of the children, and families supported by this organization. I am honored to have taken part in this historic and record breaking event. Thank you to everyone who supports this important cause.”
