Always looking for ways to give back to the community, Excentium focused this year’s holiday community outreach event around the children and families currently residing at “The Children’s Inn” at the National Institute of Health (NIH).  The Children’s Inn at NIH is a residential “place like home” for families with children participating in leading-edge research studies.

Opening their doors in 1990, The Children’s Inn was established to provide a convenient, home-like environment where families could stay together, for free, while their children were undergoing treatment.  Since inception, The Children’s Inn has supported nearly 13,000 seriously ill children and their families have made over 60,000 visits to the Inn.

Excentium’s holiday supply drive raised over $700 worth of donations ranging from everyday household items to canned goods and toys. President and CEO, Colin Corlett: “To support this organization is truly an honor; I am glad that we were able to play our part, but the praise should most certainly go to the brave Children and Families who are supported by this organization; they are the true Warriors!”
