Nick Zito

Nick is an accomplished Senior Executive, Program Manager and Project Manager with a proven record of building, leading, and developing world-class teams in a wide range of dynamic, fast-paced, multi-pathed and high growth environments. Successful in identifying, improving, and streamlining complex work processes, Nick possesses creative expertise in corporate operations, healthcare management, organizational, business development and strategic planning.

He has served as the Director for TMIP-J DT&E test lab, Sr. TMIP-J instructor and Functional SME to the PMO, and has over 28 years of experience in a wide range of DOD-DHA IM/IT programs including the Theater Medical Information Program-Joint suite of products that he helped deploy to U.S. Military units worldwide.  He also has over 28 years of experience with various CHCS modules (e.g., PAD, PAS, ADM, MCP, LAB, RAD, Pharmacy, etc.) and in CHCS file and table builds, and clinical workflow ( including  AHLTA and AHLTA-T).

Additionally his experience includes working as the DHIMS, DHA and JOMIS liaison to the US Central Command Surgeon staff, where he was acting CIO for 12 months. He has worked with every COCOM to provide SME support to understand and employ JOMIS and DHA suites of products to the service components and deployed forces, and worked to have TMIP-J as an integral part of the COCOM’s Warfighting OP-Plans and pre-deployment critical reporting.

Military Experience: US Navy – Retired after 30 years as a Navy Hospital Corpsman-Independent Duty medical clinician, as HMCM, E-9, SW/FMF/ NAC.  He served in various capacities during his career, including ships, shore stations and Fleet Marine Force. Prior to his retirement he was assigned to Commander in Chief, U.S. Atlantic Fleet, Office of the Fleet Surgeon, US Joint Forces Command Surgeon staff as Fleet Medical Master Chief.
